Dhanbad Police Boost Patrols with 45 New High-Tech Bikes for Faster Emergency Response

Dhanbad: In a major push to strengthen policing and improve emergency response, the district administration on Wednesday flagged off 45 new high-tech patrolling bikes for the Dhanbad police. The bikes were flagged off during a programme held at the police district headquarters.The newly inducted bikes have been distributed among police stations across the district to intensify patrolling and improve response during emergencies. Equipped with modern facilities such as sirens, blinkers and GPS tracking systems, the bikes will be directly monitored from the police control room. Officials said the move is aimed at ensuring faster police mobility, especially in areas where four-wheelers face difficulty reaching quickly.According to officials, the district police had earlier received additional bikes for police stations and City Hawks units. With the latest addition, the total number of patrolling bikes available with Dhanbad police has reached nearly 250.SSP Prabhat Kumar said, “The initiative would further strengthen policing and help police personnel reach crime spots swiftly.”
