Bike-car collision leaves two dead in Chatra
In a tragic twist of fate, two lives were lost in Chatra when a speeding car collided with a motorcycle, sparking outrage and sorrow in the community. Similarly, in Dumka, chaos ensued when a biscuit-laden container truck caught fire after colliding with a high-tension wire.
Chatra: Two men were killed, and two others were injured when a speeding car collided with a motorbike in Parsouni Chowk under Itkhori police station limits on Sunday night. The deceased Rishi Paswan and Abhishek Paswan, were returning from their relatives’ place on a motorbike which was hit by a car coming from the opposite direction. The duo was killed on the spot.Dumka: A container truck laden with biscuits, went up in flames after touching an overhead high-tension wire near Kushchira Bypass under Gopikandar police station limits on Monday. The truck’s driver and his helper Alam escaped with minor burn injuries. Police said the truck was travelling from Raipur in Chhattisgarh to Siliguri in West Bengal.Chatra: DC Ravi Anand and SP Animesh Naithani conducted a surprise inspection at the Chatra divisional prison premises early Monday morning to assess security and inmate facilities.
