Ansari, 25, was admitted to Bokaro Sadar hospital for treatment.Ansari, a resident of New Pindragaria in Bhawani Pur, had allegedly assaulted Pandey and Mishra outside a gym in the area with several others on May 1 following an altercation. The duo then registered an FIR against Ansari and others on the same day.On May 4, Ansari was allegedly attacked by Pandey and his associates near a pond in Solagidih, leaving him critically injured. After reaching the spot, police allegedly brought him to the station and placed him in the lock-up instead of shifting him to a hospital. The matter came to light after Ansari’s family recorded a video at the station on May 5.
