Four individuals have been apprehended by Patna police in connection with a house burglary in Gardanibagh. The intruders had stolen valuables, including a television and cellphones, from a resident's home on December 29. Recovered items include two televisions and eight cellphones. The accused, all from Araria district, were reportedly living on rent in Patna.
Patna: Police arrested four accused allegedly involved in a house burglary in Police Colony under Gardanibagh police station area. The incident occurred on Dec 29 night, when unidentified intruders entered the home and stole valuable items, including a television, cellphones, and other belongings.The houseowner, Girja Devi (63), wife of late Randhir Kumar Singh, filed a complaint on Dec 30 in this regard. Based on her application, the police registered the case, and the investigation was started.

City SP (central) Diksha said under the leadership of the SDPO (Secretariat-I), an investigation team was constituted to handle the case. “Leveraging technical evidence and reliable inputs, the team carried out targeted raids that led to the arrest of the four accused,” she said.The arrested accused were identified as Mohammad Rashid (22) and his brother Mohammad Miraj (21), residents of Farsadangi Palasi Urlaha under Palasi police station, Mohammad Haroon (20) and Mohammad Manzoor (50) all from Araria district.“During the operation, police recovered two televisions, eight cellphones, one each keypad, tablet, and wristwatch from the accused. All the accused hail from Araria district and lived on rent in Patna while engaging in minor work. Further legal action is underway,” the SP said on Saturday.
