In a tragic turn of events in Delhi's Dwarka, a young delivery worker from Bihar, Pandav Kumar, lost his life after a dispute erupted during a birthday celebration. Reports indicate that a Delhi Police constable, identified as Neeraj, allegedly fired the fatal shot, also injuring Pandav's roommate.
Patna: A person has been arrested in connection with the killing of a 21-year-old delivery boy, Pandav Kumar, in Delhi’s Dwarka area on April 26.Pandav, a native of Khagaria in Bihar, was shot during a dispute with Neeraj, a Delhi Police constable from Rohtak, Haryana. His friend and roommate Krishna was also injured in the firing.According to Bihar Police, the incident occurred after a birthday gathering in Jaffarpur Kalan, where a group of youths had assembled. As they were dispersing, Neeraj confronted them, leading to an argument. CCTV footage showed him brandishing a weapon before firing at Pandav, with the bullet also hitting Krishna. Both were rushed to a hospital, where Pandav was declared dead. Police arrested the accused and recovered a 9 mm cartridge from the spot. A case has been registered under relevant BNS and Arms Act sections.Bihar Police is coordinating with Delhi counterpart in the investigation.
