Sitamarhi: JD(U) national president and former chief minister
Nitish Kumar visited Sitamarhi on Wednesday, where he interacted with MPs, MLAs, party workers and former public representatives at the residence of Sitamarhi MP Devesh Chandra Thakur.
Nitish Kumar, currently a Rajya Sabha member, highlighted the achievements of his tenure and boosted the morale of party workers. He urged them to work consistently for the upliftment of society. Party spokesperson Abhishek Kumar Jha accompanied him.
Earlier, Nitish Kumar was accorded a rousing welcome at Runnisaidpur. Devesh Chandra Thakur, MLAs Pankaj Kumar Mishra and Nagendra Raut, district president Satyendra Kushawaha, former MP R K Sharma, former MLA Khalil Ansari and Mohan Kumar were present during the felicitation.
