Patna: Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) on Wednesday signed an
MoU with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt of India, for academic collaboration on socio-legal projects, research and professional development.
The four-year partnership will connect CNLU students and faculty with STPI's nationwide network of Centres of Excellence, incubation facilities and start-up ecosystem, providing access to live industry projects, mentorship and joint research opportunities.
CNLU's academic community will contribute the expertise of its faculty in cyber law, intellectual property rights and digital forensics to STPI's incubate start-ups on a mutually agreed basis.
Speaking on the occasion, CNLU’s vice-chancellor Faizan Mustafa said that the MoU has positioned CNLU at the heart of India's technology and innovation ecosystem. “Our students will gain direct exposure to real-world cyber security and digital forensics challenges, while our faculty will contribute their legal and technical expertise to shape the start-ups of the future,” the VC said.
