Awareness drive on air pollution launched

Patna: Bihar State Pollution Control Board (BSPCB) launched an awareness campaign on Friday to address air pollution during Holika Dahan. The initiative targets the burning of tyres, rubber, plastic, engine oil, and thermocol. Street plays are scheduled across 11 districts, including Patna, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Bhagalpur, Begusarai, Siwan, Purnia, Biharsharif, Buxar, and Munger. The programme will run till Sunday, featuring performances at four locations per city daily. A total of 156 performances will occur over three days, with 52 sessions completed on the first day.
