Hezbollah Rockets Hit Northern Israel As IDF Continues Bombardment Of Lebanon
Cross-border fire between Israel and Hezbollah is intensifying once again, with fresh rocket attacks from southern Lebanon followed by Israeli airstrikes deeper into Lebanese territory. According to the Israel Defence Forces, four rockets were launched toward the Karmiel area in northern Israel. Two were intercepted by air defence systems, while the remaining projectiles landed in open areas, with no immediate reports of casualties. Hezbollah described the attack as part of a broader wave of coordinated strikes, claiming it targeted multiple Israeli positions and settlements along the northern front, including Misgav Am, Kfar Giladi, and the Zarit barracks. Israel responded with air power, striking several locations across southern Lebanon, including Nabatieh al-Fawqa, al-Abbassieh, and Bint Jbeil. These areas have seen repeated targeting in recent days, as Israeli forces continue operations against what they describe as Hezbollah infrastructure and launch sites.
