US-Israel-Iran War News Live Updates: 'China not supplying weapons to Iran,' Xi assures Trump, says White House
US-Israel-Iran War News Live: The United States has imposed a complete naval blockade on maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports, stepping up pressure on Tehran as US forces say they will intercept or divert vessels operating along Iran’s coastline.
The military command said the restrictions are aimed at controlling maritime activity linked to Iran, while maintaining passage for vessels not associated with Iranian ports.
US naval assets have been deployed to monitor and control access to Iranian ports, with the aim of restricting Tehran’s oil export routes, a key source of revenue, as part of broader economic pressure during the ongoing conflict.
The decision follows the collapse of recent diplomatic efforts between Washington and Tehran in Pakistan, prompting the US to consider maritime pressure as a strategic option. Reports cited by Trump suggested the US Navy could "out-blockade" Iran, with aircraft carriers deployed in the Persian Gulf bolstering enforcement capability.
Iran responded with a strong warning. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said any escalation would be met with force in the strategic waterway. It warned that "any miscalculated move will trap the enemy in the deadly whirlpools in the Strait."
Reasserting its position, Iran said its forces have the Strait of Hormuz "under full control," signalling defiance amid the increased US naval presence. The development has raised concerns about further escalation, with potential implications for global trade routes, oil supply chains and energy markets.

Iran-US news: Tracking service shows Strait of Hormuz largely empty amid US blockade
Ship-tracking data from MarineTraffic shows the Strait of Hormuz largely empty as the US military enforces a naval blockade on Iran, sharply reducing vessel movement through the key waterway.
There is a heavy build-up of ships on either side of the strait, in the Persian Gulf to the west and the Gulf of Oman to the east, while only a few vessels are seen passing through the narrow channel itself. Some ships are also positioned close to the Iranian coastline, as cited by the Times of Israel.

Iran-US news: Two ships linked to Iranian ports cross Strait of Hormuz despite US blockade
At least two vessels that had recently used Iranian ports successfully passed through the Strait of Hormuz, despite a US military blockade coming into force, according to data released Tuesday by maritime tracking firm Kpler, cited by AFP.
One of the ships, the Liberia-flagged bulk carrier Christianna, crossed the strategically important waterway after offloading corn at Iran’s Bandar Imam Khomeini port. It was tracked near Larak Island at around 1600 GMT on Monday—approximately two hours after the US blockade was implemented.
Another vessel, the Comoros-flagged tanker Elpis, was observed near Larak Island earlier at about 1100 GMT and also completed its passage through the strait around 1600 GMT, as per the tracking data.

Iran–US news: Israel and Lebanon are holding talks. What do we know?
Israeli and Lebanese envoys will meet for US-mediated talks in Washington on Tuesday as US President Donald Trump seeks to calm weeks of Israeli fighting with Iran-backed Hezbollah that has threatened to derail a fragile US-Iran ceasefire.
Both sides are under pressure from Trump to end the fighting, a demand by Iran in parallel talks brokered by Pakistan.
Israel intensified its air attacks on Lebanon after Hezbollah fired missiles at Israel on March 2, three days into the US-Israeli war on Iran. It has since widened a ground invasion into Lebanon's south, ordering hundreds of thousands of Lebanese to flee villages it views as Hezbollah strongholds.
Israeli attacks in Lebanon have killed more than 2,080 people, including 252 women and 166 children, the Lebanese health ministry says. Hezbollah has not released a death count for its fighters. Sources familiar with the matter told Reuters on March 27 that more than 400 had been killed since March 2.
Hezbollah missile fire has mainly targeted towns near Israel's northern border but has also been aimed at major cities like Haifa and Tel Aviv, causing damage and sending Israelis rushing for bomb shelters. Two Israelis and 13 soldiers have been killed since March 2, Israel says.

Iran–US news: Hezbollah official says the group won't abide by any agreements from Lebanon-Israel talks in the US

Wafiq Safa, a high-ranking member of Hezbollah's political council, spoke on the eve of the talks expected in Washington between Lebanese and Israeli ambassadors to the US It will be the first time in decades that envoys from Lebanon and Israel, which do not have diplomatic relations, meet face-to-face in direct talks.
“As for the outcomes of this negotiation between Lebanon and the Israeli enemy, we are not interested in or concerned with them at all," Safa told The Associated Press.
"We are not bound by what they agree to,” he added in a rare interview with international media. He spoke next to a cemetery as an Israeli drone buzzed overhead.

Iran–US news: Iran demands reparations from 5 Arab states over alleged role in 'US-Israeli aggression'
Iran has called for compensation from five Arab countries, accusing them of enabling "US-Israeli aggression" by allowing their territories to be used for attacks against the country, the Iranian state media, Press TV, reported.
In a letter addressed to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Security Council President Jamal Fares Alrowaiei, Iran's Ambassador and Permanent Representative Amir-Saeid Iravani rejected compensation demands made by Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Jordan.
The letter stated that under the current circumstances, these countries "cannot lawfully invoke Article 51 of the UN Charter (the right to self-defence) vis-a-vis Iran as they facilitated the US-Israel aggression."
Tehran asserted that it is "the victim of aggression" and is exercising its inherent right of self-defence, the envoy wrote in the letter.
According to the letter, in some cases, " unlawful armed attacks against civilian targets inside Iran have been carried out directly by those states."
Iran's mission called on the five countries to immediately halt "internationally wrongful acts" by allowing their territories to be used for attacks and, in certain instances, participating directly in such actions, as reported by Press TV.

Iran–US news: Israel stands still to honour Holocaust victims
Israel came to a standstill on Tuesday as sirens sounded across the country in tribute to the six million Jews murdered by the Nazis during World War II.
At 10:00 am local time, Israel observed a two-minute silence, with traffic coming to a halt and the rhythm of everyday life suspended in a symbolic act of remembrance for those who perished.
The commemoration, held each year in April or May in accordance with the Hebrew calendar, is separate from International Holocaust Remembrance Day which is marked on January 27.
This year's commemoration comes amid a fragile two-week ceasefire with Iran after a deadly war that began on February 28, when a joint US-Israeli air attack killed Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei.
Despite the ceasefire, Israel remains engaged in deadly combat with Iran-backed Lebanese Hezbollah militants in south Lebanon, even as separate talks are scheduled to take place between Israeli and Lebanese officials later Tuesday in Washington.
Official ceremonies began on Monday evening with a state event at Yad Vashem, the Holocaust memorial in Jerusalem, attended by senior officials.
"We delivered the heaviest blow in that (Iran) regime's history. It stands weaker than ever before," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at the Yad Vashem ceremony.

Iran-Israel war: Israel FM, EAM discuss Iran, Strait of Hormuz, Lebanon on phone
Minister of foreign affairs of Israel, Gideon Sa'ar on Tuesday discussed Iran, the Strait of Hormuz, and Lebanon with external affairs minister S Jaishankar. Sa'ar said that Iran's harm to freedom of navigation through economic terrorism in the Strait of Hormuz requires action that will ensure the freedom of navigation for all countries, including India.
In a post on X, Sa'ar said, "A good conversation, as always, with my friend, India's Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar. We discussed Iran, the Strait of Hormuz, and Lebanon. I said that the firm American stance in the negotiations on conditions that would prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons (no enrichment in Iran, removal of enriched material from Iran) is critical for the entire international community," he said.

Iran–US news: Australia backs open Strait of Hormuz, links role to ceasefire stability
Australia has reiterated its support for freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, with Defence Minister Richard Marles stating that Canberra is "deeply invested" in keeping the crucial waterway open.
Speaking to the ABC broadcaster, Marles said Australia is working with international partners, including France and the United Kingdom (UK), to support stability in the region.
"We need to see freedom of navigation, obviously, through the Strait of Hormuz," Marles told ABC. "We're deeply invested in having an open Strait of Hormuz and the global fuel supply chain return to normality."
His remarks came in response to a question on whether Australia supports the United States' blockade of Iranian ports in the strategic passage.
However, Marles said that any direct Australian involvement in efforts to reopen the strait would depend on the durability of the current ceasefire.
"And right now, that is very uncertain, and we really need to see what plays out throughout the remainder of the ceasefire, and as to what the circumstances are in the Strait of Hormuz, which would allow some effort to begin," he added.
Earlier, on Monday, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that France and the United Kingdom will jointly lead a multinational initiative aimed at restoring free and secure navigation in the Strait of Hormuz amid uncertainties over the virtual control of the strategic waterway between the US and Iran.

Iran–US news: China calls US blockade of Iran ports 'dangerous and irresponsible'
China said on Tuesday that a US blockade around Iranian ports was "dangerous and irresponsible", after US President Donald Trump threatened to sink any boats that sought to leave or dock there.
"The US increased military operations and took a targeted blockade action, which will only exacerbate tensions and undermine the already fragile ceasefire agreement and further jeopardise safety of passage through the Strait," Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun told a news conference, adding "this is dangerous and irresponsible behaviour".

Iran–US news: Iran, Oman foreign ministers discuss ceasefire, regional talks
Iran's foreign minister Abbas Araghchi on Tuesday held a phone call with Oman's Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi to discuss the latest developments regarding the ongoing "ceasefire and negotiations" between Iran and the US, according to the Iranian media outlet, Mehr news agency.
According to Mehr, Araghchi underscored Tehran's position on regional stability. The news agency reported, "Araghchi emphasised the Islamic Republic of Iran's commitment to preserving regional peace and stability with the cooperation and participation of all countries in the region and away from destructive US interventions."
Omani Foreign Minister Albusaidi, for his part, according to Mehr, expressed hope that peace and stability "would return to the region as soon as possible."
The news agency also reported that the discussions come amid continuing tensions following the conflict between the US and Iran, despite previous rounds of negotiations. Oman, which had acted as a mediator in the talks occuring before February 28, said that the conflict broke out even though a potential agreement had been "within reach."
Earlier, Araghchi warned that "provocative" actions by the United States could have "dangerous consequences" for global peace and security, during a phone call with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on Monday, according to CNN.

Iran–US news: Xi says China will play 'constructive role' in Mideast peace talks
China’s President Xi Jinping on Tuesday said Beijing would play a “constructive role” in promoting peace talks in the Middle East, after the first round of US–Iran negotiations ended without a deal.
Xi reiterated China’s position of pushing dialogue over conflict, with state media quoting him as saying the country would continue efforts to facilitate talks and support a diplomatic resolution.
Iran has pushed back against US President Donald Trump’s claim that its navy was “finished,” showcasing fast missile boats and issuing a pointed warning as tensions escalate around the Strait of Hormuz.
In a social media post, the Iranian consulate in Mumbai shared visuals of its naval vessels, saying the “fast missile boats are warming up,” and suggesting the US could face a swift response.
The post also took a swipe at Trump’s remarks, warning that those underestimating Iran would “find out how a swarm can pin you down,” while adding a Bollywood-style line to underline the message.

Israel–Iran war: Preliminary meet to pause military activity, if not ceasefire, says Lebanon minister ahead of talks with Israel
Lebanon's culture minister Ghassan Salame has said that the upcoming talks between Israeli and Lebanese ambassadors in Washington, DC, are intended as a "preliminary meeting" aimed at stopping Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory, according to Al Jazeera.
Speaking to Al Jazeera, Salame on Tuesday highlighted that the upcoming engagement is a "preparatory meeting on ambassador level in order to produce a pause in military activity if not a ceasefire."
He said meaningful negotiations would only be possible once hostilities subsided. He added that discussions on peace could only happen "with some kind of serenity" after a halt in bombardment by Israel.
Salame noted that Lebanon had received "some kind of commitment that there should be a de-escalation" in the Beirut area, though he cautioned that "guarantees is probably too big a word".
He acknowledged Lebanon's limited leverage in the talks, but said the government's objective was to "reassert the state authority".
On the issue of disarming Hezbollah, Salame said the process "takes time" and cannot be achieved quickly, adding that it would not be resolved "in a matter of hours or days."
Meanwhile, a US state department official said that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will participate in talks between Israel and Lebanon on Tuesday (local time) in Washington, DC.
The negotiations, set to take place at the United States Department of State, will also include US Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Issa and State Department counsellor Michael Needham as part of the American delegation, according to CNN.

Iran US Ceasefire News: 'Next round of Iran-US negotiations expected soon' says Pak's defence minister
Pakistan's defence minister Khawaja Asif has said that the next round of Iran-US negotiations was expected soon.
Speaking to the media outside Parliament House on Monday, Asif said there had been a sense of satisfaction after the talks that there were no negative developments so far.
“Only positive progress has been observed,” he said, indicating that the ongoing diplomatic efforts were moving in a constructive direction.
The next round of Iran-US negotiations was expected soon, he added.
The Express Tribune reported that responding to a question about whether Pakistan would play a decisive role in shaping the region’s future, Asif said that ultimate decisions rest with Allah.
The 21-hour talks between the US and Iran on Saturday were the first of their kind since 1979 due to the involvement of top-level officials from both sides. The two sides, however, failed to secure a lasting peace deal to end hostilities following their talks in Pakistan over the weekend.
Vice President JD Vance, who led the US delegation at the negotiations in Islamabad, said the Iranian side did not accept Washington's terms for ending the war even as the US presented its "final and best offer".
Hours after the talks collapsed, US President Donald Trump said on social media that the negotiations with Iran failed as "Iran is unwilling to give up its nuclear ambitions."

Israel–Iran war: 'Iran engaging in economic terrorism,' says JD Vance as US blocks Hormuz
US Vice President JD Vance has accused Iran of being willing to engage in “economic terrorism” globally, as tensions rise following Washington’s move to block the Strait of Hormuz.
In an interview with Fox News, Vance backed US President Donald Trump’s stance that Iran must not acquire nuclear weapons. “If they’re willing to engage in economic terrorism on the entire world, what leverage would they have if they had a nuclear bomb?” he said.
He added that talks between Washington and Tehran had taken place, describing the engagement as a positive step despite ongoing differences.

US–Iran war: Hezbollah asks Lebanon to cancel truce talks with Israel
Hezbollah has called on Lebanon to cancel a planned meeting with Israel in Washington, reiterating its rejection of any direct negotiations with its longtime adversary.
The appeal comes amid escalating fallout from the conflict, with Israeli strikes in Lebanon killing over 2,000 people and displacing more than a million since Hezbollah entered the war.
Lebanese and Israeli ambassadors are scheduled to meet in Washington to discuss the possibility of direct talks. However, Beirut has maintained that a ceasefire in the Israel–Hezbollah conflict must come first, a position Israel has rejected, favouring formal peace negotiations instead.
In a televised address, Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem said the group “rejects negotiations with the usurping Israeli entity” and urged Lebanese authorities to take a “historic and heroic” stand by cancelling the meeting.

The United States and Iran are weighing a second round of in-person talks as both sides look to secure a deal before the current ceasefire expires next week, according to AP sources.
Discussions are ongoing, with US officials saying options are still being worked out.
Possible venues under consideration include Islamabad and Geneva, though the timing and level of representation remain undecided. Officials said talks could take place as early as Thursday.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said the US had been contacted by Iran and that "they want to work a deal".

US Iran War: Russia offers to hold Iran’s enriched uranium amid stalled talks
Russia has offered to securely hold Iran’s enriched uranium as part of a potential agreement, a proposal that remains on the table but has yet to be taken up, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.
The offer comes as negotiations remain deadlocked over the duration of limits on Iran’s nuclear programme. Reports suggest the United States pushed for a 20-year halt to uranium enrichment in exchange for sanctions relief, while Iran countered with a five-year suspension.
The competing proposals, discussed during talks in Islamabad, are seen as a scaled-back version of US President Donald Trump’s earlier demand that Tehran permanently abandon its nuclear ambitions.

Iran war: UAE-bound ship from India passes through Strait of Hormuz despite US blockade
A container vessel travelling from India to the UAE appears to be the first to pass through the Strait of Hormuz since the US imposed a blockade targeting Iran-linked tankers and ports, according to BBC.
Ship-tracking data from MarineTraffic shows the vessel, Paya Lebar, en route to Dubai after departing India.
In contrast, another ship, the tanker Rich Starry, was reportedly turned back while approaching the strait. It remains unclear whether the sanctioned vessel was attempting a transit or diverting toward the Gulf of Oman.

Iran War: Oil slides on deal hopes despite blockade tensions
Oil prices fell sharply and global stocks edged higher on Tuesday as markets bet on a possible breakthrough in the Iran conflict, after US President Donald Trump said Tehran had reached out for talks even as a US naval blockade of Iranian ports took effect.
Although negotiations in Pakistan ended without a deal, investors drew optimism from signs of partial convergence, with Iran saying both sides had come “inches away” from an agreement.
This comes amid rising military tensions, with Trump warning that US forces would destroy any Iranian “fast attack” vessels approaching the blockade zone.
A tanker under US sanctions transited the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, even as Washington’s naval blockade on Iran came into force, Reuters reported.
The move comes amid heightened uncertainty across global shipping and energy markets. Traders and ship operators have been seeking clarity on the scope of the blockade, announced by US President Donald Trump, which aims to curb Iran’s oil exports.
Since the blockade took effect, no vessels with active transponders have been tracked entering the Persian Gulf.

Iran US Ceasefire News: Trump warns Iran over ceasefire deal, vows no nuclear weapon
US President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Iran over the future of the ongoing ceasefire, saying the consequences of failing to reach a deal would be severe while reiterating that Tehran will not be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon.
Answering questions on what would happen if no agreement is reached by the end of the ceasefire, Trump said, "I don't want to comment on that, but it won't be pleasant for them. Right now, there is no fighting. Right now, we have a blockade. They are doing no business... So now Iran is doing absolutely no business. And we are going to keep it that way very easily. Their Navy is gone, their Air Force is gone, their radar is gone, and their leaders are gone. It's a lot."
He further underscored Washington's position on Iran's nuclear ambitions, stating, "Iran will not have a nuclear weapon... If they don't agree, there is no deal... There will never be a deal. Iran will not have a nuclear weapon, and we are going to get the dust back; either we will get it back from them, or we will take it."
Accusing Iran of attempting to pressure the international community, Trump added, "We can't let a country blackmail or extort the world because that is what they are doing, they are really blackmailing the world. We are not going to let that happen... Many ships are heading to our country right now as we speak to load up with the best oil..."
Meanwhile, US officials are deliberating the possibility of convening another in-person meeting with Iranian officials before the ceasefire between Washington and Tehran expires, although a final decision has not yet been taken, CNN reported.

Iran US Ceasefire News: The US blockade on Iran casts further doubt on the fragile ceasefire
US President Donald Trump has raised the stakes in his showdown with Iran after declaring the American military has blockaded all of the country's ports. Trump announced the move on Monday, a day after ceasefire talks with Iran in Pakistan ended without agreement.
The blockade is part of an effort to force Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz to global traffic and accept a deal to end an inconclusive war that has inflicted heavy damage on Iran, reverberated across the region and shaken the world economy.
Iran, however, responded with threats against all other ports in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, raising the possibility that the two-week ceasefire declared last week could collapse and the war could resume.

'Honouring Pope Leo's fearless stand': Iranian Parliament Speaker Qalibaf hails Pontiff's message against war crimes
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf on Tuesday praised Pope Leo XIV for his strong remarks against war and violence, hailing the pontiff's message as a moral stand against the killing of innocents and describing his slogan, "I have no fear," as an inspiration for those opposing alleged war crimes by Israel and the United States.
In a post on X, Qalibaf wrote, "Honouring Pope Leo's fearless stand! "I have no fear" echoes as he condemns the war crimes of Israel and the US. This slogan lights the path for all who refuse to stay silent on the killing of innocents. @Pontifex leadership inspires millions - thank you for this light!"
The comments came after Pope Leo XIV reiterated his commitment to peace and spiritual advocacy, stating that he has no intention of engaging in a political confrontation with the United States administration.
When questioned by reporters during his flight to Algeria, the Pontiff said, "I think that the people who read will be able to draw their own conclusions: I am not a politician, I have no intention of entering into a debate with Donald Trump."

Israel Iran War: Vance says Iranians made some progress' in talks on nuclear issues
Vice President JD Vance said in an interview with FOX News Channel's “Special Report” that negotiations “did make some progress” in the Islamabad talks on the US insistence on the removal of nuclear material from Iran as well as a mechanism to ensure uranium cannot be enriched in the future.
“They moved in our direction,” Vance said in the interview. He said he thought Iranian negotiators were “unable to cut a deal” and needed to get approval from others in Tehran.
Vance also said that US negotiators made clear that Trump “would be very happy if Iran was treated like a normal country, if it had a normal economy,” but he did not go into details about what he meant.
“There really is, I think, a grand deal to be had here. But, it's up to the Iranians, I think, to take the next step,” Vance said.

The negotiations, set to take place at the United States Department of State, will also include US Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Issa and State Department counsellor Michael Needham as part of the American delegation, according to CNN.
The Israeli and Lebanese sides will be represented by their respective ambassadors, Yechiel Leiter and Nada Hamadeh, respectively.
CNN said a US State Department official said the talks would focus on advancing dialogue aimed at ensuring long-term security along Israel's northern border, while also supporting Lebanon's efforts to reassert full sovereignty over its territory and political system.
"This conversation will scope the ongoing dialogue about how to ensure the long-term security of Israel's northern border and to support the Government of Lebanon's determination to reclaim full sovereignty over its territory and political life," the official said.

Iran War: Kremlin says offer to accept Iran’s enriched uranium still on table
The Kremlin said Russia’s offer to accept Iran’s enriched uranium as part of a potential agreement with the United States remains in place.
“This proposal was voiced by President Putin in contacts with both the United States and regional states. The offer still stands, but it has not been acted upon,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, according to Russia’s state-owned RIA Novosti news agency.
Peskov added that Moscow is ready to provide support for efforts aimed at de-escalating the crisis surrounding Iran.
The United States has imposed a naval blockade on maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports, stepping up pressure on Tehran as US forces say they will intercept or divert vessels operating along Iran’s coastline.
Washington says international shipping not linked to Iran will continue to be allowed through the Strait of Hormuz, even as military activity in the region intensifies.
US naval assets have been deployed to monitor and control access to Iranian ports, with the aim of restricting Tehran’s oil export routes, a key source of revenue, as part of broader economic pressure during the ongoing conflict.
The move follows the failure of marathon negotiations in Islamabad, led by Vice President JD Vance, which ended without agreement. Washington blamed Tehran’s refusal to abandon its nuclear programme, while Iran accused the US of “maximalism, shifting goalposts, and blockade.” The breakdown has left a fragile ceasefire hanging in the balance and revived fears of a broader regional conflict.
President Trump reinforced the hardline stance, announcing that the US Navy would enforce the blockade and warning of severe retaliation against any hostile actions. "Effective immediately, the United States Navy, the Finest in the World, will begin the process of BLOCKADING any and all Ships trying to enter, or leave, the Strait of Hormuz," he said. He further warned, "Any Iranian who fires at us, or at peaceful vessels, will be BLOWN TO HELL!"
Iran responded with strong rhetoric, with its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warning that "any miscalculated move will trap the enemy in the deadly whirlpools in the Strait." Tehran also asserted that it retains full control over the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global energy chokepoint through which roughly 20 per cent of the world’s oil and gas supplies pass.
Financial markets reacted sharply to the developments. Oil prices surged, with Brent crude and US benchmarks rising above $100 per barrel, while global equities declined amid heightened uncertainty. Asian markets fell broadly, and safe-haven assets such as the US dollar gained, reflecting investor anxiety over prolonged disruption to energy supplies. Inflation concerns also resurfaced, with rising oil prices expected to put pressure on global economies and central bank policies.
Analysts warned that the blockade could be seen as a de facto continuation of hostilities. Experts pointed to the risk of further escalation, including potential strikes on energy infrastructure, which could have lasting consequences beyond the immediate conflict.
Meanwhile, international voices, including Australia, called for restraint and urged both sides to resume negotiations. Regional tensions also remained high, with continued hostilities involving Israel and Lebanon underscoring the fragile security environment.
Overall, the blockade signals a shift from diplomatic engagement to economic and military pressure, raising the stakes in an already volatile region and increasing the risk of wider geopolitical and economic fallout.
