Canter hits bike in Noida underpass, man dies

Noida: A 29-year-old man died at the Sector 71 underpass after his bike was hit by a canter truck. Police have seized the truck, but the driver, who fled the spot, is still at large.Ghaziabad resident Vinod Kumar was travelling from Sector 52 to Sector 71 on Sunday when the speeding truck hit him from behind. The impact was so strong that the bike was damaged and Kumar died on the spot. The canter truck driver went a little ahead and then abandoned the vehicle.A team from Phase-3 police station found the body and sent it for autopsy. Kumar's family has filed a complaint against the truck driver.An officer said that teams have been formed to trace the driver. He was identified by CCTV footage.
