Brawl outside highrise in RNE triggers probe
Ghaziabad: A brawl between two groups of youths outside a highrise society in Raj Nagar Extension was caught on video, prompting police to open an inquiry. The incident occurred on Monday evening. No formal complaint has been filed so far, police said.“We have not received a police complaint in the case yet, but a team has been formed to investigate. We have taken CCTV footage of the society and others nearby to identify the accused and car,” the ACP said.A one-minute and 24-second video of the fight shows around 10 youths fighting each other. Some accused can be seen hitting each other with sticks. At one point, some of the youths escape the brawl, but the remaining assailants find one of the fleeing youths and chase him. He eventually runs into the society to escape. A crowd of onlookers can be seen gathering around the brawl, but no passersby intervened.
