By- Anil JadhavAMRAVATI: A youth from Pawarwadi locality of Telipura in Badnera was stoned to death in railway station area on Sunday. Acting swiftly, the crime branch arrested two persons and detained two minors. This is the sixth murder in Badnera in last six months, all involving minors.
According to cops, an unknown caller asked Kunal Telmore (17) to reach railway station premises where he was murdered. Senior officers from Badnera police & crime branch reached the spot. Sr PI Sandeep Chavan, crime branch initiated the probe.
Investigation revealed that around five months ago, the deceased had a dispute with one of the accused, Dipesh Samudre (21), a resident of Tilak Nagar, Badnera.
About eight days ago, Telmore allegedly assaulted Samudre. Telmore also had disputes with Samudre's associates, including Piyush Bhoyar (19) of Juni Vasti, Badnera, and two juveniles in conflict with law.
On Sunday, Samudre and Bhoyar planned to murder Telmore. As soon as Telmore reached the railway station area, Samudre, Bhoyar and the minors allegedly assaulted him with stones. Based on technical evidence, the crime branch traced and detained Samudre, Bhoyar and the minors from Wadura village.
