Youth Congress protests over NEET leak in Mysuru
Mysuru: Youth Congress workers who tried to lay siege to Mysuru MP's office, alleging "Centre's failure" led to the NEET question paper leak, were detained by police and later released on Wednesday.Protests broke out after the NEET paper leak surfaced. Youth Congress workers marched towards MP Yaduveer Wadiyar's office at the Public Offices Building (CADA Building) to stage a demonstration. Police set up barricades at the main gate and blocked the protesters. A heated argument and jostling followed between police and activists. Angered, the workers sat on the road to protest. Police then took them into custody and shifted them in vehicles before releasing them later.Police personnel were deployed as a precautionary measure to prevent any untoward incident.
