10 women hurt as mill van overturns near Dindigul

Dindigul: Ten women workers were injured after a minivan overturned near Kottapatti in Dindigul district on Wednesday morning.Police said the van, operated by a private textile mill at Thomaiyarpuram, was ferrying workers along the Kottapatti–Alangulam Road when the driver lost control near Kottapatti Pirivu around 7am. The vehicle overturned, leaving the passengers with minor injuries.Local residents rushed to the spot and helped rescue the injured, who were taken to Dindigul Government Medical College Hospital. Dindigul Taluk police have begun an inquiry. No case has been registered so far.
