Single window system at AMC to benefit veterans

Lucknow: To enhance administrative efficiency and veteran welfare, Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Command, inaugurated Single Window Clearance System at AMC Records, AMC Centre & College in Cantonment on Wednesday.AMC Records has long been backbone of pension documentation, grievance redressal and timely issuance of e-PPOs and other terminal benefits for retirees and their next of kin. Committed to transparency and efficiency, the department embraced modern IT solutions to streamline services for veterans, retirees and serving JCOs/OR. Designed to simplify and expedite grievance resolution, facility caters to issues related to Pay and Allowances, Part-II Order adjustments and pending claims. It is especially beneficial for those reporting to AMC Centre & College (Adm Battalion) during discharge drills. Equipped with advanced kiosks powered by in-house software, the system offers wide range of services at the click of a button — from address updates and education records to promotion details, leave records, pay slips (since 2011), and e-PPO & FSA information. These kiosks are seamlessly integrated with ARPAN and connected to PAO (OR) AMC Lucknow via Dolphin connectivity. Shaheed Abdul Hamid 60th Balidan Diwas celebratedThe 60th Balidan Diwas of Param Vir Chakra awardee Shaheed Abdul Hamid was commemorated at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. Organised by The Legend Veer Abdul Hamid Trust, the event honoured the hero of the 1965 Indo-Pak War. Chief guest Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, GOC-in-C, Central Command hailed Abdul Hamid as an "eternal inspiration." Veterans, war widows and citizens paid heartfelt tributes to the war hero.
