Lucknow: At a janta darshan organised at his Lucknow residence on Monday, chief minister
Yogi Adityanath met petitioners and told them that public service was the govt’s priority duty.
During the meetings,
Deepti, a resident of Bareilly, told the CM that she lives in a rented house and earns her livelihood by running a handcart, but has been facing significant difficulty in raising her children due to financial constraints. The CM directed the Bareilly district magistrate to address her concerns and ensure she benefits from the PM SVANidhi Yojana, in addition to being given immediate local assistance.
Other petitioners came with applications, requesting housing assistance. The CM told them that the govt is providing housing to all eligible beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri and Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana and forwarded their applications to the respective DMs with instructions to provide eligible applicants the benefits of these schemes at the earliest.
Some people also sought financial assistance for medical treatment and the CM asked officials to prepare estimates immediately and submit them to the govt. He told the applicants that the govt would take care of the treatment costs.
Some parents also attended the janta darshan and spoke about financial difficulties in getting their children educated. The CM directed officials to ensure that no child drops out of school and that their education continues uninterrupted, even if coordination with school management is required.
The CM also took cognisance of complaints related to illegal encroachments and police matters, and ordered action in all complaints. He instructed the local police and administration to resolve issues promptly and ensure that the affected individuals were satisfied with the action taken.
