PNG introduced at kitchen facility inside Ayodhya’s Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir
LUCKNOW: Green Gas Limited (GGL) has connected the Maa Sita Rasoi, the kitchen facility inside the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi mandir complex in Ayodhya, to the piped natural gas (PNG) network.
With this move, the kitchen has been shifted away from LPG use.
The PNG connection was inaugurated by GGL managing director Girija Shankar and director (commercial) Rajkishor Behera.
Around 2.5 km of MDPE pipeline network has been laid from Parag Ayodhya to connect Sita Rasoi. Currently three burner stove and two single burner would be utilised to make Prasad and food and in future it may increase further.
The project received support from various associated organisations and local administrative bodies involved in facilitating the implementation.
