LDA to begin e-auction of 149 residential plots

Lucknow: The Lucknow Development Authority will open e-auction for 149 residential plots in Gomti Nagar Extension and Basant Kunj Yojana from Thursday as part of a larger sale of 475 properties worth nearly Rs 3,000 crore across the city.Officials said the online auction portal will remain open till May 28 and interested buyers can participate by depositing 10% of the reserved price as earnest money. The residential plots range from 25 square metres to 300 square metres.According to LDA, among residential plots, 12 are on the land recently freed from encroachment in Sector 6 of Gomti Nagar Extension. These plots measure between 112 sq m and 225 sq m and have a reserve price of Rs 36,000 per sq m. Their base prices range from around Rs 40 lakh to Rs 82 lakh.The remaining 137 plots are in Basant Kunj Sector H, Sector I and Gau Ghat. The smallest 25 sq m plot is priced at around Rs 8.5 lakh, while the largest 300 sq m plot carries a reserve price of nearly Rs 1 crore.Apart from residential plots, LDA has also put group housing plots near Rifa-e-Aam Club on Jagat Narayan Road and in Sector 7 of Gomti Nagar Extension on sale.LDA vice-chairperson, Prathamesh Kumar, said the authority aimed to make premium residential properties available in well-developed localities through a transparent process.
