Vice-President to attend St Berchmans College celebrations

Kottayam: Vice-President C P Radhakrishnan will be the chief guest at the grand finale of the centenary celebrations of St Berchmans College, Changanassery, in Kottayam on Saturday. The event is scheduled for 3.30pm at Archbishop Kavukatt Hall. The Vice President will be received at the college gate by the college patron and Changanassery Archdiocese Metropolitan Mar Thomas Tharayil. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, minister V N Vasavan and Mavelikara MP Kodikunnil Suresh will speak. The Vice President will then inaugurate the Dr K M Abraham Centre for Energy and Environment, a state-of-the-art research facility established as a centenary memorial.
