Man stabs elder brother to death in Idukki

Thodupuzha: A 53-year-old man was taken into custody for allegedly stabbing his elder brother to death at Peringasheri in Udumbannoor, Idukki. Karimannoor police took Biju (53) into custody for the murder of his brother Raju (58) of Eenthungal. According to police, Biju, who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, attacked Raju with a knife. The incident occurred around 7pm on Monday. Though Raju was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, his life could not be saved. Police also stated that Biju is believed to be suffering from mental health issues. Raju's body has been shifted to the mortuary of the district hospital in Thodupuzha.
