Mayor launches online census drive
Kanpur: Mayor Pramila Pandey on Friday completed the online self-enumeration process under Census 2027 at her office in Municipal Corporation headquarters in Motijheel. This process will be conducted via an online portal from May 7 to 21, during which citizens will be required to answer 33 questions. On this occasion, Mayor appealed to all citizens to either participate in the 2027 Census online or to provide complete information to the personnel collecting data door-to-door; he emphasised that census data assists both the Central and State govts in formulating welfare schemes. In connection with this initiative, Himanshu Shukla (Census In-charge, Census Department), Dinesh Yadav (Assistant Director), Jagdish Yadav (Additional Municipal Commissioner), Amit Mishra (Field Trainer), and Shashank Dubey (Field Trainer) provided information regarding the census.
