Two killed in separate accidents in Khudel area
Indore: Two persons were killed in separate accidents that took place in Khudel police station limits of the city.
Police said a 58-year-old farmer Kedar Kunwar, a resident of Niranjanpur, was working on his farmland in Gogakhedi on Saturday when he lost control of a tractor he was operating. He fell from the vehicle, and the tractor wheel ran over him, leaving him critically injured.
People working in nearby fields rushed him to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Police have recorded the death and launched an investigation.
In another accident, 23-year-old Pritam Singh Sal, a resident of Badgaon in Agar district, died after an unidentified vehicle hit his two-wheeler near Devguradia.
He sustained severe injuries in the collision and succumbed to them. A case was registered against the unidentified driver and efforts were underway to trace the vehicle involved.
Four youths were injured in a separate road accident involving a speeding SUV near Sayaji Square.
