Two children killed, parents seriously injured in car-bike collision

Times News NetworkKhargone: Two children were killed and their parents seriously injured when a motorcycle they were riding on collided head-on with a car in Karahi police station area of Khargone district on Wednesday evening.According to police sources, the accident occurred near Shani temple in Katargaon village. Devkaran, a resident of Sejgaon village, was travelling on a motorcycle with his wife Ranu, their three-year-old daughter Ganika, and two-year-old son Siyanshu.The family was reportedly on their way from Sejgaon to Mirzapur village to attend a religious discourse at Ranu Bai’s parental home. On the way, their motorcycle was hit by a car that reportedly did not have a number plate.All four injured were rushed to Mandleshwar government hospital, where doctors declared Ganika and Siyanshu dead on arrival. Devkaran suffered injuries to his head and leg, while Ranu Bai sustained a waist injury. The car driver was also injured and admitted to hospital.Police have seized the car which was heading towards Omkareshwar.
