Indore: Heatwave conditions tightened their grip over western Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday, with Ratlam turning into the state’s hottest city at a blistering 46.5 degrees Celsius. The city has been reeling under intense heat for the past few days, after recording 45 degrees Celsius on Monday and 45.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Even Tuesday morning brought little relief, with the minimum temperature remaining high at 27.4 degrees Celsius. Dhar and Ujjain, both under heatwave alert, also reeled under severe conditions as the mercury climbed to 44.5 degrees Celsius and 44.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
Met department has predicted heatwave conditions to prevail in these parts of western MP for the next four days.
