MPPSC mains race begins, application open till June 15
Indore: With the declaration of the State Service Preliminary Examination 2026 results, the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) on Monday began the application process for the mains, bringing relief and fresh momentum for thousands of aspirants across the state. Eligible candidates can submit online applications for the examination.
A total of 3,775 candidates have qualified for the next stage of the recruitment process against 156 advertised posts. The preliminary examination was conducted on April 26, with nearly 72 percent attendance recorded among around 1.35 lakh registered applicants. Of the shortlisted candidates, 3,044 belong to the main category segment, while 731 candidates have qualified under the provisional 13 percent reservation segment.
For students preparing for the mains, the next few months will be crucial as the examination is scheduled to be held from Sept 7 to 12. Candidates are now shifting focus from objective-based preparation to intensive answer writing and subject revision.
The commission has announced examination centres in 12 cities, including Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain and Sagar, offering wider accessibility for aspirants from different regions.
Students can apply online till June 15. Applications with a late fee of Rs 3,000 will be accepted till June 22, while a final opportunity with a late fee of Rs 25,000 will remain open till August 16. Candidates will also be allowed to make corrections in their application forms between May 30 and June 17.
