Hyderabad: Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) bloc’s next meeting will be held in the city in Aug.
This was announced by AICC president
Mallikarjun Kharge after the INDIA bloc meeting in New Delhi on Monday.
This will be the second major meeting of AICC in Hyderabad. In Sept 2023, AICC held the CWC meeting in the city followed by
Sonia Gandhi and INDIA alliance partners’ public meeting at Tukkuguda.
One of the reasons for Hyderabad being selected as a venue was also because
Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy had recently played a crucial role in seeking support of various parties and the INDIA bloc was successful in defeating the delimitation-linked women’s reservation bill in Parliament.
The alliance decided to hold meetings once every two months to formalise long-term strategy.
