Internet Cut, Drones Deployed As Jaipur Widens Key Road Amid Encroachment Row | Watch

Jaipur authorities have launched a major anti-encroachment operation in Jagatpura to widen a road from 25-30 feet to 80 feet. Internet services were suspended, around 3,000 police personnel deployed, and drone surveillance activated to maintain order. The drive includes removing five religious structures, including the Noorani Mosque. While local leaders and community members have opposed the move, officials say the action is based on revenue records and is necessary to improve connectivity and reduce traffic congestion.
