HYDERABAD:
Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths have registered a disproportionate assets case against a General Manager of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS & SB) and launched simultaneous searches at eight places in the state including his house at Mallapur area of Hyderabad.
The accused officer is SAL Kumar. ACB teams started the searches early on Tuesday at Kumar's G+3 house in Mallapur, six other places including his office, friends and relatives houses in Hyderabad and his farm house in Nizamabad.
During the searches, ACB teams have unearthed Rs 1.05 crore cash and over 50 tola gold. Searches are still continuing.
