Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar inaugurates Yukti-2026 at VTU

Belagavi: Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) launched the 3rd edition of its annual cultural and technical fest ‘Yukti 2026', on Friday, and film producer Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar inaugurated the event. Kannada film personalities Sonal Monteiro, Saptami Gowda, Pramod Shetty and Tarun Sudhir were present. Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar said, "Engineering should not be viewed as purely technical subject. ‘Yukti' reflects creativity and intellect, and students must make the best use of the opportunities provided," she said. VC Prof Vidyashankar said, "For the past 3 years, the festival successfully brought out students' creativity. With discipline and hard work, even difficult challenges can be overcome, and a bright future can be shaped," he said. VTU registrar (administration) Prof Prasad B Rampure, registrar (evaluation) Prof Ujwal UJ, finance officer Prashanth Nayak G, executive committee member SB Sangappa and special officers KM Kumari Chaitra and Rohan Gourav were present.
