Tripura 1st state to add ‘Track Me’ feature in 112 India app

Agartala: CM Manik Saha said Tripura is the first state in the country to incorporate the ‘Track Me’ feature into the 112 India app, aimed at enhancing security measures in the state.

The feature is expected to assist women and the elderly. Saha highlighted that the integration of technology within the policing framework has contributed to crime prevention.

“The nature and dynamics of crime across the country are evolving constantly. We aim to ensure that our police are well-prepared for these changes, while also keeping citizens informed about the safety measures in place. The administration is proactively reaching out to the community,” he said.
