Meghalaya music teacher dies in Dubai; body brought back
Shillong: The mortal remains of music teacher Kresitha Gabil Momin, who died in Dubai on Thursday, were received by her family members at Guwahati Airport on Sunday for the onward journey to her native place of Rongjeng, East Garo Hills district.The 41-year-old violin teacher at the Arab Unity School LLC in Dubai had suffered a cardiac arrest on May 15 and died in a private hospital.Rongjeng MLA Jim Sangma had informed chief minister Conrad K Sangma, following which the state govt instructed chief secretary Shakil P Ahammed to contact the bereaved family and arrange for transportation of the mortal remains of the deceased to her home state.
