AR recovers arms & ammo in Manipur’s Senapati dist

Guwahati: Assam Rifles recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition during a well-planned operation in the Maranmei Hill range of Manipur’s Senapati district on Thursday.

The recovery by 16 Assam Rifles was based on inputs from Assam Rifles Field Intelligence Unit (ARFIU) and 3 CIB, further corroborated by own sources.

The weapons recovered include one AK-47 rifle with magazine, one MP-5 rifle with magazine, one .303 rifle with magazine, two .22 rifles with magazines, four locally made bolt-action rifles, three .32 pistols with magazines, two .22 pistols with magazines and one locally made shotgun.
