Labourer out to deliver momo dies in hit & run in Gurgaon
Gurgaon: A 24-year-old daily wage labourer was killed in a hit-and-run near Brojo Warehouse on Khera Khurampur Road in Farukhnagar on Tuesday evening. Pramod, a resident of ward number 13, was riding pillion on a motorcycle driven by Manish, a momo seller, when an unidentified vehicle hit them at high speed around 6.30pm. The vehicle was allegedly coming from the opposite direction.

According to a complaint filed by Pramod's brother, Pawan, the two were on motorcycle to deliver momo to Khera Khurampur village when the vehicle rammed into them and fled. Pramod was taken to the govt hospital in Sector 10, where he was declared dead. Manish was admitted to a private hospital in Kherki Daula.An FIR was registered at Farukhnagar police station under sections 106 (causing death by negligence), 281 (rash driving) and 125(A) (act endangering life or personal safety) of the BNS. Police said efforts are on to identify the vehicle and trace the driver.
