
Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) started its protest at Jantar Mantar on Saturday. The demonstration was organised over concerns related to the NEET 2026 paper leak and alleged irregularities in the CBSE's On-Screen Marking (OSM) system.

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke travelled from Boston, United States, to New Delhi to lead the demonstration. His arrival marked the beginning of the group's planned protest activities in the capital.

Ahead of the demonstration, organisers urged supporters to maintain discipline and ensure that the gathering remained peaceful while participating in the protest activities at Jantar Mantar.

CJP spokesperson Saurav Das was seen holding a flower as he spoke to the media outside Parliament Street Police Station in New Delhi. The interaction took place ahead of founder Abhijeet Dipke's arrival as the organisation prepared for its planned demonstration at Jantar Mantar.

The protest was held to highlight issues linked to the NEET 2026 paper leak and alleged marking irregularities. Participants gathered to draw attention to these concerns at the designated protest venue.

Delhi Police approved the request to hold the protest at Jantar Mantar. The permission was issued through an official order from the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, New Delhi District.

CJP supporters assembled at Jantar Mantar carrying placards and joining the demonstration. The gathering remained focused on the issues highlighted by the organisers.

Security personnel were deployed around key locations linked to the demonstration. Arrangements were made as participants gathered for the approved protest programme.

According to the official order, the demonstration received approval for a single day. Participants were permitted to hold the protest at Jantar Mantar between 10 am and 5 pm.

Participants remained gathered at Jantar Mantar as the demonstration continued under police permission. Organisers reiterated their appeal for discipline and peaceful participation during the protest.
