Delhi teen stabbed by 3 minors after dispute in Sultanpuri

DELHI: A dispute over minor issues allegedly turned violent in outer Delhi’s Sultanpuri area after an 18-year-old boy was stabbed by three juveniles, police said on Monday. Police received a PCR call on Sunday informing them that a youth with a stab injury had been taken to hospital. The victim, identified as Naitik, was admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital with a knife injury on his left thigh. During inquiry, Naitik told police that the three boys, aged between 15 and 16 years, had previous enmity with him and attacked him with a knife, a senior police officer said. Based on the victim’s statement, police registered a case at Sultanpuri police station. "One of the accused, a juvenile, has been apprehended. Efforts are underway to trace the remaining two involved in the attack," the officer said. Police added that further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact motive behind the stabbing.
