Shimla: Governor Kavinder Gupta on Saturday said the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 could be achieved only when villages, farmers, youth, and women become active partners in the nation's development.
Addressing the annual lecture on ‘Bharat 2047: The Resolve of a Viksit Bharat', organised by Panchnad Shodh Sansthan in Shimla, he stressed that a strong rural economy, modern agriculture, skill development, and entrepreneurship are key to building an
Atmanirbhar Bharat.
The governor said by 2047, when India completes 100 years of Independence, the country aims to emerge as a developed, inclusive, and self-reliant nation driven by innovation and human values. He described ‘Viksit Bharat 2047' as a collective mission of 140 crore Indians under the leadership of
PM Narendra Modi.
He also encouraged youth to become job creators through innovation and entrepreneurship and released two books on the occasion.
