Haryana follows Punjab, offers free bus travel for NEET aspirants
Chandigarh: Days after the Punjab govt announced free bus travel for NEET aspirants, Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday extended a similar facility in the state. NEET candidates will be allowed to travel free of cost in Haryana Roadways buses on June 20 and 21.
The NEET exam is scheduled for June 21.
Announcing the move, Saini said the government is committed to supporting students and ensuring hassle-free access to examination centres. Aspirants will be eligible for free travel on producing their admit cards.
The initiative aims to ease travel-related stress and inconvenience for students on exam days, he said.
Saini added that the state had earlier provided a similar facility to candidates appearing for the Common Eligibility Test (CET), and the same support is now being extended to NEET aspirants.
The chief minister also wished students success in the examination, urging them to appear with confidence and dedication.
