Chandigarh: Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini and state BJP president Mohan Lal Badoli on Monday described BJP's victory in West Bengal and Assam as a win for development, good governance and national interest.
Saini said BJP's victory in West Bengal has made it clear that the public has now rejected the "politics of corruption, infiltration and misgovernance".
Badoli said just as Congress is being wiped out across the country, the party will draw a blank in the Haryana municipal elections as well.
Badoli said the party's first-ever victory in West Bengal is the result of PM Narendra Modi's leadership and Union home minister Amit Shah's strategy, and will usher in a new era of development, security and prosperity in the state.
