Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has issued a notification inviting applications for re-checking and re-addition of marks at Rs 200 per subject for the annual higher secondary exam 2026. HS science, commerce, arts and vocational examinees can apply online for scrutiny of answer scripts from June 1-12 through the CHSE website. The council said there will be no rechecking of project papers and internal assessment marks. The provisional link for downloading evaluated answer scripts will be active from June 19 to 23 at respective higher secondary schools. tnn
CHSE clarified that different modes of valuation will apply for various subjects and streams. In the online valuation category, all theory papers of the science stream, vocational trade subjects and selected arts and vocational language papers will be covered. Offline valuation will be conducted for all other arts papers and practical papers of science, commerce and arts streams.
