Power cuts in the city on Thursday

Bhopal: Power supply will remain affected in several parts of the city on Thursday due to maintenance, metro-related works and infrastructure upgrades by the electricity department.Supply will remain disrupted from 11 am to 1 pm in Coral Casa, Education Society, Mittal College, Avasthi Farm, Regal Estate, Sant Jude Education Society, Royal Homes, Sukh Sagar, BDA Colony and Chitrakoot due to STC construction work. From 10 am to 4 pm, outages will be observed in Shiv Nagar, Sulabh Complex, Kalpana Nagar, Sonagiri A and C sectors, Balaji Hospital, Aaradhan Hospital and Sachin Mamta Hospital due to metro line shifting work by Afcons, while Nawab Colony, Dal Mill, Chhola, Chhola Dasehra Ground, Shiv Nagar Phases I to IV, Hindustan Petroleum, FCI and nearby godowns will also remain affected during the same hours due to line maintenance.From 10 am to 2 pm, supply will remain disrupted in Professor Colony, Old Vidhansabha, Kumharpura, MVM College, Tofkhana, Yadapura, Rustam Press, Mahila Thana and Aam Wali Bagiya, along with Unihome Colony, Kakariya, Inayatpur, Kidzee School, Semri, Imalia, Dehrikala, Surayya Nagar and Amravati due to maintenance and sectionaliser replacement work. Whispering Palm and nearby areas will face outages from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, while Singapore City Colony, DK-4, Danish Kunj, Virasha Heights and adjoining areas will remain affected from 9 am to 2 pm.Meanwhile, Bhensakhedi, Aakash Garden, Madhav Ashram, Visharjan Ghat and Mandi Bairagarh will see power cuts from 9 am to 12 pm due to metro construction work. Areas including Vidhya Nagar, Surendra Palace, Vidhya Vihar, Narayan Nagar, Rachna Petrol Pump and nearby CNG outlets will face outages from 10 am to 2 pm for line maintenance work.
