BHOPAL: A skeleton was recovered from Jhiria Kheda nullah. The deceased had left home 22 days back, saying he was going for fishing. He had been missing since then. The family members had filed a missing person's complaint with Bilkhiria police and were searching for him. Police are waiting for a post-mortem report to ascertain the actual cause of death and a DNA test will be conducted to confirm his identity. SHO Bilkhiria Sunil Chaturvedi said that Vinay Singh, a resident of Haripura village in Bilkhiria, sold fish to earn a livelihood. He left home on October 12, saying that he was going for fishing, but did not return. His family had been searching for him. SHO Chaturvedi said that on Thursday Sachin Thakur, a resident of Jhiria Kheda, went to his agriculture field and found a human skeleton in the nullah. Police reached the spot and ascertained the identity of the body with the help of trouser and footwear found on his body. The teeth of the skeleton were preserved for DNA analysis to confirm the identity. SHO Chaturvedi said that the actual cause of death could be ascertained after receiving the PM report but it is suspected that after Vinay's death, his body was eaten up by wild animals. The skeleton was found in three pieces which suggests that the wild animals had dragged the body.
