Iran has reportedly dealt a major blow to U.S. air power after a missile and drone strike targeted Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. Reports suggest an E-3 AWACS surveillance aircraft and multiple refuelling tankers were destroyed, with dozens of U.S. personnel injured. The loss of the high-value AWACS platform could severely impact American early warning and coordination capabilities. The strike is part of a broader Iranian campaign hitting U.S. bases and radar systems across the region.
