UPRTOU June 2026 exams from May 14
Prayagraj: UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) June 2026 session examinations will be conducted across 156 centres in Uttar Pradesh from May 14 to June 3. Over 65,000 candidates are expected to appear for the exams.
Controller of examinations Prof GK Dwivedi said the detailed timetable has been uploaded on the university website. Exams will be held in three shifts —7am to 10am, 11am to 2pm, and 3pm to 6pm. Admit cards carrying subject-wise date and time details have been made available online for download.
Authorities have finalised the centres in compliance with the state govt guidelines and university norms. The highest number of centres — 26 — have been set up in the Prayagraj region. Other regions include Varanasi (24), Gorakhpur (21), Ayodhya (18), Ballia (14), Lucknow (11), Agra (9), Jhansi (9), Kanpur (8), Meerut (5), Ghaziabad (4), and Bareilly (3).
Four district and central prisons—Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Basti, and the Fatehgarh Central Jail in Farrukhabad— have been designated as the centres for the inmates appearing for the exams.
Vice-chancellor Prof Satyakam reviewed preparedness on Tuesday and directed the officials to ensure transparent and fair conduct of examinations. Flying squads and supervisory teams have been constituted to prevent unfair means. Instructions have also been issued to provide cool drinking water and well-ventilated rooms at the centres.
Public relations officer Prabhat Chandra Mishra said regional help desks have been set up at the Controller’s office to resolve candidates’ queries promptly. The examination department remains on high alert to ensure smooth conduct statewide.
