JK Institute’s BTech students to study computer with AI

Prayagraj: Students from Allahabad University seeking admission in the BTech course being run by the department of electronics and communication, popularly called JK Institute, will now be able to study computer science with Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a part of their four-year degree.Following the increasing influence of computer science and AI in every field and the increasing demand for experts in this field, the university has started a new BTech course this session under the National Education Policy (NEP-2020). Admissions to the course have been completed, and new students have been asked to report by next week. For the first time, admissions have been taken on 30 seats in BTech in computer science and engineering with a major in artificial intelligence.In this new BTech course, students will get the facility of multiple exits and entries. In this new four-year BTech course, there is a provision of giving a certificate on completion of the first year of studies. Those who complete two years of study will get a diploma and nothing in the third year. A BTech degree will be awarded after four years of study.

Delhi University announced the academic calendar for first-year undergraduates for the 2024-25 session. Classes start on August 29, 2024, with semester breaks and examination schedules detailed. The Common Seat Allocation System for admissions has also been outlined, with an August 7 deadline for registrations. The first allocation list will be released on August 16, 2024.

Natl institute to study kidney ailments

The Health Minister Vishwajit Rane announced that the state will partner with a national institute to study the rising kidney ailments in Canacona. Opposition MLAs emphasized the need to identify the cause, rather than just setting up dialysis units. The state has received Rs 10 crore from the Centre to address the issue.
