Boy attempts suicide after girlfriend's marriage

Prayagraj: A 19-year-old boy allegedly attempted suicide at his home under the Manjhanpur police station limits in Kaushambi on Friday. According to police, the boy, a resident of Pitambarpur village, was depressed after his girlfriend was married to another person on Thursday. He allegedly tried to hang himself at his home, but his family intervened in time and rushed him to a district hospital, where his condition is reported to be stable.
