Shalini Parekh is an independent journalist, educator and parent with an interest in issues of race, culture and religion and how these ideas inform our worldview. She freelances as an international reporter for Times Now and has also served as adjunct faculty in the journalism department at Chicago's Columbia College. Her ideas on culture and faith are informed by her worldviews as an immigrant and a parent of first generation Indian-American children.
