'One Phone Call From PM Modi Can End This Issue': UAE Envoy On Iran-Israel-US War

UAE Ambassador to India, Hussain Hassan Mirza, said, “One phone call from PM Modi to Israel and Iran can end the issue,” emphasizing India’s unique role in mediating the ongoing conflict. Mirza clarified that the UAE has no intention of being drawn into the Iran‑Israel war and will not allow its territory to be used by either side. Highlighting Abu Dhabi’s position as a neighbour to Iran and a partner to Israel under the Abraham Accords, he said the UAE can help facilitate negotiations. Mirza praised PM Narendra Modi’s credibility with both parties, noting that his intervention could lead to a peaceful resolution. He also condemned hostilities on UAE soil, stressing the urgent need for dialogue to prevent further escalation.
