Nepal has sought to clear the air over recent remarks regarding the India-Nepal border dispute. Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal said Kathmandu is not asking the United Kingdom to mediate but is interested in accessing historical documents that could shed light on the origins of the dispute. The clarification follows India's reiteration that boundary issues between the two neighbours must be resolved bilaterally without third-party involvement.
