It is govt's duty to prevent farmer suicides: SC

A day after questioning Centre's much-hyped PM Fasal Bima Yojana for not being able to address agrarian crisis in the country, the Supreme Court on Friday said it is the responsibility of governments to ensure that farmers, in distress due to crop loss, did not commit suicide.
